I captured these otters sitting on the same log as the Canada Geese behind my grandparent's home. One of them is waving at you!

This photo was judged first place winner in the category of color slides in the Oct.1999 Huntsville Photographic Society competition. The blue background is an underexposed white drafting table that Mozilla was perched upon, and the background is black due a fast shutter and being out of reach of the flash.
28-105mm f3.5-4.5 Macro with 3X close-focusing adaptor and 2X tele-converter, shot fully zoomed and as close as the lens would focus. The original slide had such a high degree of chromatic aberrations that it was essentially unusable.
